Winter sport means every retailer is shouting about boots and jerseys at the same time. We gave Amart’s offer a face instead.
Coach Mike, Amart’s recurring character played by Mike Goldman, turns up in his red tracksuit and tries his hand at whatever’s going: the bowls green, the golf course, buggy and all. It’s warm, slightly ridiculous and unmistakably Amart.
Then the offers land hard: football boots, adidas and Nike junior boots at $29.99, and 2014 NRL jerseys from $119.99.
